you can either do these plain, or add gkazed cherries, fudge bits, choc chips, dried fruit - anything really!
Ingrediants
4oz butter
3oz golden syrup
3oz soft brown sugar
8oz porridge oats
1. place butter, syrup & sugar into saucepan and melt over low heat, i put mine into a bowl and bang in microwave to be quicker!
2. stir in oats (and if adding anything else such as choc chip stir in these too) and mix well, all oats should turn brown from obsorbing syrup mix
3. spread into a tin greased with butter ans smooth top with knife.
4. bake in centre of oven on 180'c for 30mins
5. remove from oven and leave for 5 minutes before cutting into shape
6.remove when cold and store in air tight container
