so simple yet absolutely yummy!
Earlier today since my kids both love chicken nuggets i decided to look up how to make homemade ones for them so they are a bit healthier and i stumbled across a receipe that you could use either breadcrumbs, doritos, cornflakes, rice crispies load of different coatings!
tonight i made half doritos and half bread crumbs so see how they went!
you need
chicken breasts
a pack of doritos or similair
plain flour
an egg (beaten)
1. cut the chicken into strips or nugget shaped lumps
2. place the doritos in a bowl and crush with the end of a rolling pin or similiar
3. pop 1 by 1 the chicken in the flour and cover and then dip in the egg, and the the doritos
4. place on a baking tray
5. once they are all day spray them over with some fry light or drizzle with oil and cook on 200c until cooked all the way through (20 mins roughly depending on the oven and size of the chicken)
6. eat! yum yum
i took some pics here are they before they were cooked
and this is afterwards
